Our Holistic Primary Care Providers:
Anna Jonas, DO is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she subsequently completed a Masters in Health Services Administration. Board Certified in Family Medicine, Osteopathic Family Medicine, and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (October 2019), Dr. Jonas’ clinical interests include integrative and preventive medicine, sports related injuries, chronic pain and musculoskeletal complaints.
"My philosophy of care centers around my osteopathic training to treat the whole person and promote the inherent healing mechanisms that exist within the body. Combining my expertise in family medicine, neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and integrative medicine with the wants and needs of my patients, we will work together to find a treatment plan that resonates most with each individual.” Dr. Jonas joined Osher Center in August 2019 and is accepting new patients. |
Mary-Anne Meyer, CNP has been practicing primary care since 1984 in a variety of settings including community health centers and Guatemala. She received her Master's Degree from Rush University and is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Nurse practitioners are advanced practice nurses who provide high quality healthcare treating a range of health problems. Mary-Anne’s primary care practice at the Osher Center for Integrative Health focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, health education and counseling. She is fluent in Spanish.

Shibani Munshi, MD attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine, and then completed a Family Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Her practice at the Osher Center focuses on primary care for chronic medical conditions, preventive medical care including routine gynecologic exams, and acute medical issues.
"I enjoy working in partnership with my patients to help them achieve their optimum health—both through treating their current medical concerns and by looking at their healthcare from a preventive perspective. I believe that lifestyle issues play a significant role in health and disease, and so I stress a holistic outlook to healthcare by incorporating both conventional Western medical therapies and integrative treatment options with my patients." |
Shakira Sanchez-Collins, MD, MDiv is a graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine and Yale Divinity School. A board-certified Internal Medicine physician, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital with a special focus in urban health and primary care. Her interests include wellness, holistic care, preventive health, stress management and obesity care. Dr. Sanchez-Collins is also a national speaker on self-care and wellness.
"I have a holistic approach to health and wellness that addresses the whole person—mind, body and spirit. I believe in creating personalized, integrative care plans that focus on the short-term and long-term health and wellness of patients including preventive health and chronic disease management." Dr. Sanchez-Collins joined Osher Center for Integrative Health in April 2021 and is accepting new patients. |
Mary Ella Wood, DO joined us in September 2023 and is accepting patients!
Dr. Wood is a graduate of Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a physician who is specialized
in family medicine & osteopathic manipulative medicine. Prior to her transition to integrative primary care,
she had a broad training background to include general surgery residency, wilderness medicine and
inpatient-based family medicine residency with extensive experience in intensive care and high-risk
obstetrics.
Additionally, she is a certified yoga teacher and has training in herbal medicine and integrative nutrition. Dr. Wood has a passion for all areas of integrative medicine.
"My philosophy is that the mind, body and spirit are all connected. With that, my primary goal as a physician is to partner with my patients in their health journey. Whether we are working on chronic disease management or
improving overall health and wellbeing, I focus on collaborative relationships to get to the root cause of disease."
